You will need to purchase either an eye bolt or an eye screw of adequate size and strength from which you can hang your FunSwingTM. Eye screws and eye bolts are inexpensive and readily available from any good DIY retailer, ironmongers or builder's merchants.

Take care to purchase a good strong one and seek advice as to the most appropriate one fro where you wish to hang you FunSwingTM. We cannot be held responsible for the adequacy of the fitting or the suitability of the wooden beam or joist.

Eye bolts are bolts designed to go right through a wooden beam or joist and be fixed by means of a washer and nut from the loft area above the ceiling.

Eye screws are usually self-tapping and are designed to screw into a wooden beam or joist after first drilling a small guide or pilot hole.

DO NOT rely on fixings into plasterboard ceilings; always locate the joist benenath the plasterboard and ensure that the eye screw or bolt is securely fastened in or through the centre of it.

Your FunSwingTM is readily assembled. all that you need to do is locate a suitable beam or wooden joist and secure your eye bolt or eye screw to it in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Hang the swing from the eye screw as shown in the diagram using the Karabine clips and chain (optional depending on height of ceiling).

Before using the swing, test that the eye screw or bolt has a secure fixing by hanging your full weight off the bar. If using an eye screw it is not advisable to keep removing it each time you use the swing. Oncve a secure fastening has been obtained, the eye screw should be left alone.

Please note that the FunSwingTM should only be used with the spring up to a maximum wieight od 100kg. It is safe to use the swing beyond that (up to 150kg) without the spring attachment*

Most of the time you are likely to be using the swing with just the female partner actually on it and the male partner standing, kneeling or sitting on the floor next to it. The spring will provide added bounce and enjoyment.
